It looks at migration through the lens of the women’s movement, all the sacrifices women have made moved them from where they started to obtain equal rights throughout history. This battle has not been won yet. Its nature varies from place to place; however, it is abundantly evident that gaining and maintaining women’s freedom has been especially difficult for women in the Islamic world and Middle Eastern countries.
